Oswald Montoy, 72, Salina, died Wednesday, July 4, 2001.Mr. Montoy was born April 14, 1929, at Salina. He was a custodian for the Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Montoy. Survivors include his wife, Carmen of the home; three sons, Reuben and John, both of Salina and Marc of Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Monica Maynes and Mary Magee, both of Salina and Sophie Frain of Murphy,Texas; four brothers, Paul and Ismael, both of Salina, Henry of ElCentro, Calif., and Joseph of Ellsworth; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Cathedral,Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, 401 W. Iron, Salina 67401. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
